PVH Corp. (PVH), one of the world’s largest apparel companies, with an office in Bridgewater, N.J., raised $30,000 from their annual PVH Cares employee-driven campaign to support the Midland School.
At the PVH Cares kick-off event, Midland students and staff sold hand-made crafts and spoke to PVH associates about Midland’s mission and programs. Throughout the charitable giving drive, PVH held a basket auction, silent auction, 50/50, bake sales, employee dress-down days, a sale of PVH brand clothing and a campaign-long food drive.
The donation was presented to Midland at a check presentation February 24th at PVH headquarters in Bridgewater. “The PVH Cares campaign is a team effort led by a group of dedicated committee captains and generously supported by PVH associates who make this gift to the Midland School possible. We are excited to partner with Midland at all levels – volunteerism, serving as a job training site and employing graduates,” said Meg Lachance, President of Van Heusen Retail at PVH Corp.
“The continued—and much appreciated—support Midland receives from PVH positively impacts the entire Midland community,” said Midland’s President and CEO, Shawn M. McInerney. “In addition to including Midland in their yearly PVH Cares event, PVH directly helps students through volunteering at the Midland campus, employing Midland graduates and serving as a job-training site for our soon-to-be graduates. For this and much more, we are very grateful”
