The Midland Corporation Board of Trustees is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Natalie Swiatek as Project Director, effective Feb. 1, 2017. Swiatek spent the last 17 years of her career at the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). She will transition this experience to lead special education programming and career education efforts within The Midland School and Midland Adult Services (MAS).
“We are very pleased that Natalie will be joining Midland’s leadership team,” says Midland’s President and CEO, Mr. Shawn McInerney. “Natalie has consistently been in the vanguard of advocacy to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has extensive knowledge and experience with services and supports. Ms.Swiatek is a highly effective leader who possesses excellent communication and organizational skills and she will be a very strong asset to Midland.”
Ms. Swiatek will have a wide range of responsibilities in her new role at Midland, including preparation and implementation of Fee-for-Service, CARF Accreditation, expansion of services and supports, quality metrics, and community outreach.
Ms. Swiatek is a graduate of Drew University, sociology major with human services emphasis and has a M.S.W. Rutgers University Graduate School of Social Work Health Administration, Policy and Planning Concentration Health, Mental Health and Aging Cluster.
