Midland’s goal is to provide services and supports across the lifespan that help the people we serve reach their highest level of achievement and become contributing members of their communities. To meet this goal, Midland Adult Services (MAS) focuses on the transition from school to adult life by providing high quality residential living, community and life skills training, job training and placement, and day as well as social and recreational experiences to support and enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
MAS Employment Services offers supervised job training and employment to adults and young people (aged 21 and up) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Working actively with employers to find appropriate jobs that match the skills of the individuals we support, the Employment Division serves former Midland students and other adults with developmental disabilities who need training to develop the skills and behaviors necessary for employment.
MAS Residential Services provides supervised group home settings licensed by New Jersey Department of Human Services. On-site support services are available 24 hours daily, 365 days a year. MAS supports individuals in all aspects of their lives and provides training in independent living skills to promote as much independence as possible. MAS provides a dynamic recreation program to ensure community integration and an enhanced quality of life.
